Kobudo
Kobudo is an ancient Japanese martial art comprised of 9traditional budo ryu-ha or schools over 3000 years old. We use a wide range of tools and techniques free of strength to overcome and endure all that would harm one.
Come and train with us in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with Japan trained instructors.

DnD is the iconic role-playing game of fantasy and imagination that is part storytelling, part social interaction and part chance. Come along and join the fun

Training from Oct-Mar at 4:30pm on Thursdays at Premaydena Cricket Ground. Saturdays for games.

Port Arthur Cricket Club
To foster the game of cricket in the Port Arthur area and to encourage the young people to take up the game.  Saturdays at Port Arthur Sports Ground.

Nubeena Tennis Club – Tennis Tasmania Participation Leader (South-based)

Courts can be hired and are located in Clark St, Nubeena. There are two courts with lights.
Phone to collect keys.  The club also makes Christmas puddings and cakes in November as a major fundraiser for the year.

Peninsula Pirates Soccer Club
Provide soccer in a family friendly atmosphere to the residents of the Tasman Peninsula.
After Easter until end of Term 2 at 9:30am on Sunday at Nubeena Recreation Ground. Also ask us about Social Soccer in Nubeena.

Netball – 6250 2126
Netball is open to people from 10 years and up, both male and female. It is a social match and people are placed in teams on the night.

Tasman Swimming Pool Association – Leeanne Eldridge ph 0427 803 538.
To provide a chlorinated swimming facility for children and all the community. Reserved for school use during school hours, available to the public at other times.
Season extends from October to April. Individuals and families are welcome to book the pool, which is heated, covered and has shower facilities.

 Peninsula Aquatic Club 
To teach water and watercraft safety to members of the community – old & young. To utilise our equipment and have lots of fun.  Every Sunday in season (Summer) at the PAC clubhouse in Nubeena.

Taranna Boat Association – Louse Griffiths – 0407503015
We are a non-profit recreational boating group. We built the Taranna jetty 25 years ago and maintain it and the slip-way nearby – used only by club members.
Meeting 4 to 5 times per year at a club member’s home and July for AGM at Taranna Community Centre.

An interesting and challenging 9-hole course at Point Puer Rd, Port Arthur. Competitions are held for members and associates as well as social games.

Games are played between the teams weekly at Taranna Community Centre.  Season extends from March to October. Competition Monday 7pm, practice Thursday.
