We offer computer and office facilities at Dunalley and Tasman, assist with No-interest Loans (NILS), hire out rooms for events and courses, publish a weekly E-News update and run Facebook pages for the House as well as the Garden and Food Co-op.

Dunalley Op-Shop

Come and visit our fabulous volunteer run Op Shop to grab a bargain!

Proceeds go back into the Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House to fund programs and activities.

Food Co-op

We stock a range of dried produce such as rice, flour, grains, pulses as well as spices, salts, syrups and much, much more! We order in bulk and pass on the savings to our members.

You need to be a member to shop at the Food Co-op. To become a member only costs a one off fee of $20, which gives you life membership to the Neighbourhood House and Food Coop.

For our Co-operative to thrive we rely on the ongoing support of our members. We aim to be plastic bag free and encourage you to bring your own containers and jars.

In the garden

If you would like to get involved come along. Produce is often sold in the Op-Shop and proceeds go back into our garden program.

The Garden Club meets seasonally and also organises excursions and activities. All gardeners from experienced to just starting out are welcome!

The Grade 2 children from Dunalley Primary School regularly work in the garden. They use the raised beds to plant, care for and harvest vegetables and herbs.

We have a collection of gardening and landscaping books you can borrow or browse, and tools that can be borrowed for the short term.

To borrow resources, volunteer or if you have andy garden questions then talk to our Community Garden Project Officer.

Students from the Tasman District School add a very practical component to their studies. with the help of our garden tutor they grow their own produce from seed to eat or take home.

During our Play, Discover and Laugh sessions parents and children are encouraged and supported to garden together. Join us for a morning full of laughter and joy!

Tasman U3A

University of the Third Age (U3A) is a volunteer organisation providing friendly and informal opportunities for retired and semi-retired people to engage in learning.
